Trimming and splitting is the same as with a Video Clip. If the music is not long enough add another file and trim it to fit the length of the clip. Alternatively right click on the Audio clip and choose Fade Out. Choose Titles and Credits from the Task Pane on the left. Make sure you save the project one more time before exporting. From the options choose to save a file for playback on the computer. On the next screen make no changes and wait until the video is complete. Finally you will get the option to watch the video in Windows Media Player. You can make the music shorter by clicking on it and dragging it back to the left. These need to be dropped in between your clips. Make some titles or credits to finish your movie off. These can either be made to go in between clips or on top of clips. A DV camera is just a video camera. Click on Save to my computer. The students will watch a movie in class and actively participate in all activities. Encourage students to offer their own examples for participation points. Make sure the students understand the structure before proceeding. You may decide to grade them on attentiveness. Informing the students of this might ensure better participation. Feel free to create your own rubric if you deem it necessary. You will write a page and a half review on the film. You will now see this video in Windows Movie Maker. Click on the video file and drag it into the timeline as shown. Then select the place you want to save the compressed file to by using the drop down menu.
